Elegant, stylish, friendly and genuine, expert stylist and fashion professional Susan Eyton has effortlessly taken her lifelong passion for beauty and fashion and turned it into a heartwarming business that transcends the ordinary. With nearly three decades of cosmetology experience to her name, this inspiring lady has one overall mission in life: to touch the lives of as many women as possible in a beautiful and inspiring way, promoting health, wellness and beauty all in one magical breath.

Just speaking to this dynamic woman makes you feel more beautiful and inspired. “I love this industry,” she smiled. “I am a woman who truly knows beauty and who is passionate about relaying this to other women.”

Her passion for her work knows no bounds and it definitely comes naturally to her. “When I was a little girl, I was completely into fashion, hair, make-up and clothing,” she noted, leading us to believe that her Barbie dolls were most likely the best-dressed on the block! “As I got older, I was the one who was always helping my three sisters and my friends do their hair and make-up. It just came easily to me as I loved it so much.”

Needless to say, the traditional meeting with the high school guidance counselor during her senior year was brief and to the point. “I’m going to cosmetology school,” she confidently asserted. Session over. Destiny had the reigns and Susan’s path in life clearly opened up before her.

After graduating from Apple Valley High School, she began her studies at the Scot Lewis School of Cosmetology, not surprisingly graduating at the top of her class. It was during those years in school that her innate talents and skills made their presence fully known. “My instructor routinely gave me a lot of responsibilities because he knew I could handle it all,” she said.

And that she did. After graduating with honors, Susan literally hit the ground running as she traveled nationwide educating, motivating and entertaining other cosmetologists while working for Scruples, Inc., selling their line of hair care products as an independent contractor. Her professional resume gives testament to her ability to lead, inspire and instruct in a fun, friendly and positive manner. She has made numerous guest appearances on KARE  11, FOX 9, UPN9 and KSTP 5 over the years  where she provided expert fashion and beauty tips to audiences and home viewers.

In 2003, after working in other salons, Susan opened ESalonSpa, located at 755 East Lake Street in Wayzata, and throughout the years has brought countless smiles to the faces of her clients, which is the real reward of what she does.

“I love, love, love it when women are happy,” she expressed. “This place has such a positive feeling. I like it when my clients are excited and happy. When you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you look good.”

As ESalonSpa provides its clients with the best in hair, nail and skin care, Susan is truly excited about her new line of cosmetics called SuzECosmetics. These mineral-based cosmetics are easy to use, and those who use them typically become dedicated fans. “One of our best-selling products is the tinted moisturizer which comes with an SPF of 15,” Susan stated.
